Every illustration commission is an exclusive collaboration; a ‘one off’ to ensure an original result. Whether it be bespoke stationery, something for a special event, an original artwork for your home, or illustrations to enhance your brand, each project is a unique undertaking.

What are you looking for? Maybe you have a very clear brief in mind, or perhaps none at all; either way we will work on it together. Before getting started, we’ll discuss your goals, deadlines and any thoughts on budget.
Research
Exploration forms a critical part of the creative process. Together we will look at what you love (or don’t love), different stylistic approaches, tone of voice, and competitor design. I will go on to create mood-boards and some possible directions for your consideration.
Experimentation
Before starting on final artwork, I always present at least two rough drafts, each with a different artistic approach. This provides clarity and helps you to see what you do and don’t want, and allows for feedback, plus any changes or further ideas. We can then refine the concept, ready for final artwork.
Completion
I will draw and paint the final artwork and ensure safe delivery, be it an original painting or the digital files.
