About Jo

As a child, there was always a paint brush dangling perilously from my hand, and every school jotter was punctuated with characters peering in from the margins. My love of art led me to study Textile Design at university, before embarking on a lengthy career in fashion.
After many years managing creative content for luxury fashion brands, such as Harvey Nichols, Jigsaw, Fenwick and NET-A-PORTER.COM, I took the leap of faith from the glossy office, to a paint encrusted desk.
My illustration work is light-hearted, feminine and soft, and wherever possible I try to raise a smile. From bespoke invitations and event artwork, to story-telling and characterisation; I delight in bringing creative concepts to life through watercolour, ink and a blank sheet of paper.
The stationery collection was developed after failing to find a simple greetings card, free of shouty messaging.
My intention was to create a beautiful and timeless range of artwork that would look equally at home in a frame as it would on the window sill. A range of numbered limited-edition Art prints can also be found in my online shop.
I am committed to a fully eco-elegant approach, adopting sustainable print techniques, the finest FSC papers and card crafted from castaway coffee cups.
When I’m not working, I can be found chasing toddler twins around - the lights of my life and a constant source of inspiration.
Should you want to work together, please do get in touch. I would love to hear from you.
